Every line is one chance

With eight enabled entries, each has a 1 in 8 chance. Repeating a name creates another entry with another chance. We keep duplicate names because two people can share a name.

Repeats are part of randomness

Normal mode makes a fresh selection each time, so the same entry can appear again. Turn on “No repeats this round” to exclude selected entries for this round. A new round restores their eligibility and preserves attendance settings.

Selection comes before the animation

WheelMigo uses your browser’s crypto.getRandomValues API with rejection sampling to choose an entry. The animation reveals that result. The wheel does not decide based on timing, mouse speed, or frame rate.

What this does not prove

This is a browser-based selection tool. Local histories and device clocks are not independent certification, and we do not claim that a host or device cannot be manipulated.

Pick a group

A batch selects different entries within that batch. Round mode also excludes entries already picked in the current round. This is entry-based, not an identity check.
