A fresh spin: every draw is independent
In normal mode, each spin is independent. Every eligible entry has the same chance every time, and nothing remembers who was picked before. That means repeats can and will happen — over ten spins of an eight-name list, seeing a name twice is ordinary, not a glitch. This is the right mode when each decision stands alone: a fresh 50/50 yes-or-no, or re-rolling a single choice until you commit to it.
A no-repeat round: everyone before nobody twice
Turn on "No repeats this round" and the behaviour changes. Once an entry is picked, it is set aside for the rest of the round, so the wheel works through the group without landing on the same entry again. When the round ends — or you start a new one — everyone becomes eligible again and their attendance settings are preserved. This is the mode for taking turns: every student answers once before anyone answers twice, every team member presents before the rotation restarts.
Why we don't silently mix them
Some tools quietly reduce the odds of a recent winner to make repeats feel rarer. That produces a wheel that is neither truly independent nor truly no-repeat — it just obscures which rules are in force. WheelMigo keeps the two modes explicit so the result always matches a rule you can state out loud. If someone asks "could it pick me again?", the answer is a clear yes or no, not "probably not, roughly."
